This is a DEMO- a work in progress! there will be bugs, enjoy.

It is 2D infinite runner called Blind Runner. It was created as a final project in my summer intensive at SIA after I learned that Programming and Game Design can be used as a tool to tell someone’s story, and I have refined it up until now. I designed the game to represent my struggle as an immigrant in this country (USA). The gameplay shows the immigrant trying to avoid problems while trying to get as many opportunities as he can. In the game, the player is moving forward to reach a goal. To succeed he must avoid random problems represented in the game by mines and exploding birds -- problems that are sometimes unavoidable -- and take advantage of enough opportunities represented in the game by coins (that also appear at random) to win. Therefore, like the immigrant, the player is also forced to make choices: Focus on the problem to avoid it or focus on the opportunity to take it. If you make it to the end but you missed your opportunities, you fail and if you are don’t avoid enough problems, you still fail.
